I'm Ilana — a documentary filmmaker, supervising producer & content strategist specializing in solutions-driven storytelling. I work with mission-driven organizations, newsrooms and foundations to craft stories that move people to care, think, and act.

I believe in storytelling as a tool for impact when grounded in accuracy, nuance, and emotional truth. My personal curiosities — mythology, geography, history, systems thinking — inform the lens I bring to my work. At the heart of it all is a fascination with how people make meaning, and how stories can help us imagine better futures.
